Following the success of the European Championships held here in 2020, this return to Silvaplana promises another week of electrifying racing action.

The event commenced yesterday with equipment inspection, registration, and an opening ceremony, setting the stage for a week of fierce competition. Today was the first day competitors engaged with the downwind slalom format this week, where four races unfolded for both the men's and women's fleets. The day's racing was characterized by intense battles with several close calls resulting in a few crashes. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, underscoring the athletes' commitment to the sport's safety and their skillful control of their equipment.
Emerging from the races, Adi Millo of Israel secured her dominance in the women's fleet, claiming three out of four victories. On the men's side, British windsurfer Max Beaman's prowess earned him two wins, propelling him to the top of the rankings.
From Thursday on we will have a live broadcast every day between 14:00 and 15:30. The comprehensive coverage promises to provide spectators with a front-row seat to the exhilarating on-water action.
