iQfoil MASTER WORLDS
Silvaplana, nestled in the spectacular Engadin Valley of Switzerland, will host the first-ever iQFOiL Master World Championship from 17 to 21 August 2026. Set on the legendary waters of Lake Silvaplana, this historic edition will unfold in one of the most iconic alpine windsurfing venues in the world.
Famous for the reliable Maloja wind and powerful thermal breezes at 1,800 meters above sea level, the lake delivers dynamic and tactical racing conditions: perfect for high-performance foiling.
In a unique and inspiring format, the Master Worlds will run alongside the Youth & Junior competitions, creating a true family championship atmosphere. Parents racing with their children, coaches lining up on the start line with their sailors: Silvaplana 2026 will celebrate not only competition, but the shared passion for iQFOiL across generations.
With the breathtaking Swiss Alps as a backdrop and a vibrant summer holiday ambiance, this inaugural Master World Championship promises an unforgettable blend of elite racing, community spirit, and alpine adventure
