The 5th iQFOiL International Games kicked off with a bang as windsurfers took on the morning wind at Lake Garda, Italy. In a thrilling day of racing, four course races were on the schedule.
Onur Cavit Biriz of Turkey dominated the men's fleet, winning two out of four races and securing a second place in the first 3 races of the day. Over in the women's fleet, German windsurfer Alisa Engelmann showed to be the most skilled in today’s conditions, clinching victory in three out of four races, securing her the top spot in the rankings.
With all races completed by 11:30, it was an action-packed start to this event. Stay tuned for more racing action on the waters of Lake Garda!
