Slalom paradise

Day 3 at the iQGames Miyakojima 2024 was a whirlwind of action, featuring 5 slalom races! Against the backdrop of Miyako’s stunning scenery, participants enjoyed perfect racing conditions – sunny skies, temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius, and a gentle breeze of approximately 8 knots.

In the women's fleet, the spotlight shone on local talent Yuki Sunaga, who surged ahead to claim the lead, outpacing Sofia Renna, who slipped down to 4th place.


Meanwhile, in the men's fleet, the remarkable Manolo Modena continued his stellar performance, maintaining his lead with an impressive scorecard of only wins after the two discards that have been applied so far.


Tomorrow will be the last day of the qualifying series with the medal series planned for Wednesday, as only the top 10 will race then we are expecting to see some close battles on the water as every point counts.
