A unique event where youth, junior and masters sailors race side by side


Silvaplana, Engadin, Switzerland – 17–21 August 2026 – History will be made this summer on the stunning waters of Lake Silvaplana as the first-ever iQFOiL Masters World Championship takes place alongside the iQFOiL Youth & Junior Games #3, bringing together sailors aged 40 and over to compete while sharing the venue with the next generation of iQFOiL windsurfing athletes.


Scheduled from 17 to 21 August on the beautiful Swiss mountain lake in Silvaplana, Engadin, the event will bring together Youth, Junior and Masters fleets in a unique format that celebrates the full spectrum of the iQFOiL community. For the first time, experienced riders will have the opportunity to compete for a Masters world title, sharing the same race area, atmosphere and energy as the sport’s rising talents.


The event promises a truly special dynamic on the water: parents racing alongside their children, coaches lining up against their own sailors, and lifelong windsurf enthusiasts returning to the starting line to measure themselves against peers from around the world in the foiling discipline.


The exceptional mountain venue offers ideal summer conditions for foiling, with steady wind, a race area close to shore and the spectacular Alps surrounding it, in one of the valley most celebrated and iconic in the world.


Beyond the racing, the event is designed to capture the spirit of summer sailing. With the Youth & Junior fleets competing alongside the Masters, the Games will blend high-performance competition with a family-friendly, holiday atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for teams, families and windsurfing enthusiasts alike.


The addition of the Masters World Championship marks another step in the continued growth of the iQFOiL class, highlighting the discipline’s appeal across generations and reinforcing the strong community that defines the class worldwide.
