Halfway through the Princesa Sofia

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

Halfway through the regatta and changeable weather on the Bay of Palma has finally brought some sunshine and warmer temperatures to the racing waters of the 51 Trofeo Princesa Sofia Mallorca. Staying on top of the sizeable shifts in wind direction and pressure offered a whole new set of challenges for the iQFOiL windfoilers after cold offshore NE’ly winds on the first days. However, in the women's fleet, it's Helene Noesmoen (FRA) who keeps leading the fleet. Andrew Brown (GBR) takes the lead in the men's fleet on Wednesday, but the differences at the top of the leaderboard remain small.

Women Results after day 3 1. Helene Noesmoen (FRA) - 15 points 2. Islay Watson (GBR) - 30 points

3. Shachar Reshef (ISR) - 36 points

Men Results after day 3 1. Andrew Brown (GBR) - 14 points

2. Nicolò Renna (ITA) - 18 points 3. Luuc van Opzeeland (NED) - 22 points
